I thought Vampires were supposed to be kind of seductive and alluring,but ugly when they take on their more...vampire-like form. Sort of like the Dracula in Van Helsing.

I did this course in folklore last year and the film and modern versions of vampires are pathetic.
-Vampires are living CORPSES. They look and smell like death, but have an unnatural sexual appeal, despite this.
-Werewolves never only 'bite' the tear you apart, to shreds!
-Zombies do not eat flesh, they are servile, mindless souls.
The vampire thing aggrivates me SO much. It started with that damned Bela Lugosi Dracula... Ever seen Nosferatu? THAT'S a vampire!

I watched some of Nosferatu last year in film studies. I need to buy it.
I suppose vampires with sex appeal make better films than 'real' ones though...and I have to say I prefer that!

I hate sexed up vampire films 
I also love to hate the ALW POTO film version, because they ruined Erik's deformity. In the musical, Erik looks frrightening:

But remember the deformity is not Gerard's doing, it's most likely the director or costume designers or something. And you're a guy. I'm glad you don't think Gerard is hot, lol.
